The winemaking legacy at Beaulieu Vineyard remains unbroken for more than a century. Our story as one of the longest continually operating wineries in Napa Valley is written by the remarkable place and the extraordinary people who shaped winemaking in America.

“I thought you should have this.” That’s what a man said one day as he walked into our tasting room, handed the wine steward a bottle of BV vintage 1919, and walked out.
What began as a difficult decade with frost, early phylloxera outbreaks, and the passing of our beloved co-founder, Fernande de Latour, soon became a new era of prominence on the global wine stage for BV, as the de Latour’s daughter, Hélène de Pins, takes the reins, up-and-coming winemaker Mike Grgich joins the team, and BV’s story of perseverance during Prohibition inspires a major motion picture. Look for more stories, fun facts, and insights from our past, as we celebrate our 125th anniversary all year long!
The enticing bramble berry fruit and spice notes of our Tapestry Reserve add delightfully complementary layers to the juicy strawberry and fresh-baked flavors.
Whether you’re planning a casual brunch for two or a family reunion, this quick-and-easy recipe brings a touch of elegance to any table. You can even make it ahead to simplify your busy day. The mouthwatering acidity, citrus, and honeydew melon notes of our Maestro Chardonnay beautifully accentuate the tart’s tangy filling and crisp, buttery crust. Wine and asparagus? Absolutely!
A sunny Sunday afternoon deserves a little something special. Bring the taste of Tuscany to your patio with our springy risotto. The fresh citrus, peach, and pineapple notes in the wine provide a zingy contrast to the rich shrimp while complementing the bright, herbaceous peas. Delicious and surprisingly simple, it’s part of our regular rotation.
Planning spring get-togethers? These new recipes highlight our favorite in-season produce – asparagus, peas, and strawberries – to perfection. Paired with just the right BV wines, they’ll bring a touch of elegance to your festive brunch, lunch, and dessert menus.
We're excited to share the latest developments in our renovation project. Now in its fifth month, we're making significant progress transforming our historic winery while preserving its beloved character.
