Wine Advocate - 92 points

Every bit as good as the Clone 4, but slightly different even though it is similar in style, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Clone 6. Its deep ruby/purple color is followed by sweet, loamy soil, forest floor, underbrush, blackcurrant and black cherry characteristics. Medium to full-bodied with pure fruit as well as a long finish, it should drink well for 15 years. - Robert Parker (10/2014)

James Suckling - 93 Points

“A very balanced and refined cabernet with blackberry, blackcurrant and floral character. Medium-to full-bodied, subtle and complex. So drinkable now but will improve with age.” – James Suckling

Winemaker's Note

This is a handcrafted wine in every sense of the word. The pronounced bouquet shows ripe concentrated blackberry and black olive notes. Intense, black fruit flavors are framed by firm, mouth-coating tannins and moderate acidity. A chewy finish and great fruit concentration suggest that this wine could use at least 8 to 10 years of aging.
