Sitting in the southeastern corner of the Napa Valley, we sourced the Cabernet Sauvignon from the highly acclaimed Meteor Vineyard in the Coombsville AVA. The cool climate growing region is home to gravelly loam and well-draining rocky volcanic soils which produce wines with complex floral and earth qualities, in addition to focused acidity and commanding tannins. As a note of juxtaposition, BV Ranch No. 10 Malbec was added to this unique blend to provide plushness and complexity to the wine. This Rutherford ranch enjoys optimal sun exposure and experiences cooling influences from regular morning fog. The long, even growing season produces full-bodied, concentrated wines that highlight the appellation’s signature Rutherford Dust flavor profile.
