When Fernande de Latour, devoted mother of two to Richard and Helene, first set eyes on the land that would become Beaulieu Vineyard, she exclaimed, "Quelle beau lieu!" or "What a beautiful place." Inspired by the stunning landscape, Georges de Latour sold his cream of tartar business, bought the four-acre ranch, and embarked on a journey to create exceptional wines. Over the years, the couple expanded their land holdings, many of which remain part of Beaulieu Vineyard's portfolio today. Their unwavering commitment to quality has established a legacy that continues to thrive.
