2011 BV Maestro Collection Red Wine Ranch No.1

Elegant and classic, our Beaulieu Vineyard Ranch No. 1 Red Blend is a Bordeaux-style blend from our historic vineyard in Rutherford. Cabernet Sauvignon, the core of the blend, contributes deep blackberry and cassis expression with muscular tannins. Merlot brings vibrancy to the bright fruit aromas, adds notes of mocha and fills out the expansive flavors with luscious texture. Finally, Petit Verdot brings a violet element and enhances the blend’s firm structure. This wine, although delicious now, will reward bottle aging with even greater complexity.

2012 BV Maestro Collection Cabernet Sauvignon Ranch No. 1

There are just over 1,000 cases of the 2014 Merlot Bancroft Ranch, one of the iconic vineyards of Beringer, high in white volcanic ash on Howell Mountain. This is classic Merlot. With its thick, juicy, succulent texture and loads of berry fruit interwoven with mocha and black chocolate, it is a fat, juicy, hedonistic pleasure bomb. Drink it over the next decade.

2013 BV Maestro Collection Cabernet Sauvignon Ranch No. 1

The 2013 vintage character is evident in the wine’s firm tannin structure, so while approachable today with an hour decant, this wine will certainly be even more complex with five to 10 years of bottle aging. Enjoy this classic wine with grilled steak, roast lamb and other full-flavored entrées.
